Call For Volunteers: Scary Tech Spook House Theater Project ~ New Jersey

October is going to be a SPOOKY month where DEFCON 201 will be involved in a lot of projects. Jim Tobias, a fellow Electronic Frontier Alliance member, is planning to work with other theater, community and technology organizations to bring a traveling Haunted House show. But this is not filled with skeletons and holds a different kind of daemons. Each room will be about a Digital Privacy and Technology issue gone horrifically wrong!

Similar to a Christian Hell House, the Scary Tech Spook House Theater Project is an interactive performance show. The rooms will be filled with a technology issue (Privacy Rights, Net Neutrality, Encryption, Digital Divide, ect) featuring a nightmare scenario if we leave these issue unsolved and educate what we can do as hackers to avoid these bad futures.
We at DEFCON 201 are working with this troupe to make this a reality and we NEED YOUR HELP!
If you have free time in the month of October and have any skills (clothing, puppets, theater acting, robotics, soldering, programming, IoT hacking, ect) please contact us at:
INFO {at} DEFCON201 [dot] ORG
And we will get you in touch with the group to work on this. The first in person meet up will be soon and we can give you the address and/or online contacts to interact with this.
This project is great for filling out your portfolio and helping with the Electronic Frontier Foundation!
